Medical Malpractice Claim
Medical Malpractice Claim
Problem: Plaintiff, a 41 year old female and resident of Delaware, sought treatment from a neurologist following a motor vehicle collision. The neurologist did not follow standard draping procedures, groped and sexually touched the female patient who was in a vulnerable state, resulting in severe psychological problems, requiring treatment.
Solution: Plaintiff contacted us and we determined that this was a medical malpractice claim against the neurologist and a pain specialist who provided office space for the neurologist, which allowed the neurologist an environment to engage in this type of conduct.
Result: Mr. Altopiedi was able to show that each doctor had responsibility for the harm caused to the Plaintiff and Plaintiff received a seven figure settlement for the emotional injuries she sustained.
